Solution Charts



This page displays charts for a series of solutions to the numerical model. Loft times are varied from 4 to 24 minutes, varying droplet Cd to produce a set of bearings which triangulate to the Saginaw Crater. An example of the Google Earth solution set is shown in the graphic below.

Heuristically derived, we are presenting a solution in which the average velocity of the ejecta transit is factored as 3 km/second. Solutions are available for many other velocities and subsequent loft times, as seen in the series of graphs below. The Graphs below are linked to a kmz file with elements for an earlier set of ~40 bay fields. The sets are in individual folders in the kml, and should be opened individually.
