The generic characteristic of a PZ ejecta landform is the teardrop/pear shape. This holds true for small Carolina Bays up to emplacements tens of kilometers across. When formed from solid ejecta, we see a standing unit. When a highly aqueous ejecta blankets an area, we often get the bay structure. A characteristic of large standing structures is a central slump, which is commonly found to be holding water in the form of a large lake.
